This position is for a Junior Project Manager who will work side by side with Federal clients to identify key business issues and drive meaningful change. In this position, you will work with the client to identify business requirements and lead IT teams to produce the final solution. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who enjoys spending time with clients and stakeholders in order to gain a deep knowledge about their needs and challenges. This position requires someone with flexibility to support in-person meetings in various locations in the Washington DC area.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Work with clients and stakeholders to understand their unique challenges and concerns and recommend insightful and innovative solutions
• Work with the IT team on partially defined problems and help clients and team members determine the direction and approach to take
• Develop project roadmaps, schedules, status reports, and executive briefings
• Capture client feedback in a structured manner and work to align the team with that direction
• Leverage well developed interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Assist with business development activities such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and other thought leadership materials

What You Need for this Position:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field
• 1 – 2 years of experience working in IT and/or project management experience
• Proven ability to identify and address client needs and build solid relationships with clients
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps is a plus
