This position is a DevOps Cloud Engineer that is responsible for building and managing AWS infrastructure, creating a continuous deliver model and automating repetitive manual tasks. You will be working with our IC technology group as they develop an innovative shared big data platform for federal enterprises.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Build and manage Government clouds using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Red Hat Linux
• Create AMIs, provision EC2 clouds, cloud security groups, private networks, proxy servers, and load balancers
• Create automated build, test, and deployment pipelines
• Manage and update web server SSL certificates
• Manage Hadoop and Accumulo using HDFS command set and Accumulo shell
• Install and support cloud applications such as OpenShift, Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana

What You Need for this Position:

• Hands on experience administering Linux operating systems (RedHat is preferred)
• Experience with continuous delivery tools such as GIT and Jenkins
• Strong Bash/Shell, Perl, Python, or related programming language development
• Cloud Service Provider experience (AWS is preferred)
• BS/BA in computer science or related technical experience
